Restorative Justice Initiative would like you to invite you to join with fellow RJ practitioners and Circle-keepers for some informal, social time together on Thursday, June 8th, from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM at Chilo’s, across the street from Greenwood Cemetery in Brooklyn. Chilo’s has games, drinks, tacos, and other snacks, and plenty of outdoor seating.
As we continue to explore different ways of gathering and strengthening community, we thought it would be fun to invite restorative justice practitioners from across the city to enjoy each other’s company and the warm weather in an unstructured setting. While we don’t currently have the budget to treat you, if this proves to be a popular series, we will explore funding options.
Contact us Anooj at anooj@restorativejustice.nyc if you can join us. We hope to see you then! Suggestions for future gatherings are also welcome.
