Peace Restored: Introduction to Restorative Practices Training Course

An event every week that begins at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until October 27, 2021
Creative Response to Conflict (CRC), which is a global non-profit organization that educates individuals and groups to transform conflict into positive and constructive experiences that contribute to building a just and peaceful world, will host a virtual introduction to restorative practices training to learn community-building activities to use online and in person to begin holding circles.

Participants will learn about the three tiers of restorative practices and circle-keeping, and they will practice experiential activities they can use in classrooms and community groups on cooperation, communication, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and affirmation. Participants will also explore the connection between restorative practices, social-emotional learning, and anti-racism/anti-bias, and develop tools to build relationships that decrease conflict, increase connection, and create a safe environment to maximize learning and team work.
The fee to attend is on a sliding scale, $150 – $950, and scholarships may be available.
