Colombia to New York: Daniel Rios Moreno in conversation with Kay Pranis
Join Daniel Rios Moreno in conversation with Kay Pranis to learn about one restorative justice youth diversion program in Bogota, Colombia. We’re excited to host this conversation and hear how Daniel has been part of the development of this program which incorporates the arts with young people who have committed serious crimes. He is looking forward to sharing his experience and is excited to learn from practitioners in New York City.
We’ll be gathering in person on Monday, August 19th from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM ET at NYU (20 Cooper Square, Room 101). This is a unique opportunity to learn about some of the ways that restorative justice is being adopted in Colombia and to reflect on what lessons can be applied locally.
