2024 Peace and Justice Conference
The 2024 Peace and Justice Youth Conference is a youth-led, adult-supported, in-person, full-day conference featuring workshops, performances, and roundtables seeking to promote liberatory practices that divest from punitive justice and that interrupt the school-to-prison pipeline by engaging students in school-based restorative justice and transformative justice theory and praxis. Their hope and dream is to engage 200 youth from across NYC Public Schools and community-based organizations for this Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) conference aimed to co-create a community of youth co-investigators researching what peace and justice means. Save the date and learn more at their website!
