Practitioner Spotlight Episode 8: Levi and Gray of the Youth Advocacy Council

Hot off the presses is the last edition of the Practitioner Spotlight, featuring Levi and Gray of the 2024-25 Youth Advocacy Council. In this conversation, they spoke with former Senior Communications Associate Veronica Agard about their participation in the YAC thus far, alongside their hopes for what bringing RJ to schools could look like.

Recorded earlier this year, this episode is a great primer for all of us as the back-to-school season is in full swing, alongside misinformation about the effectiveness of RJ in schools resurfacing.

 ”…But being a part of it especially now that I’m able to be a part of those reactionary circles, I’m more aware of how much of an effect it really has, seeing the change on somebody’s face and be able to see their thought process visually and hear it from what they’re saying. It is something I’ve only recognized because I’ve been at YAC and understanding like how restorative justice really changes the thought process has been so interesting.”
